Doan Huy Chuong (aka Nguyen Tan Hoang) is a founding member of the United Workers-Farmers Organization (UWFO). He was previously imprisoned for 18 months in 2006 for promoting worker rights. He was again arrested in February 2010 for helping to organize a strike by 10,000 workers at the My Phong shoe factory and having contact with the overseas-based Committee to Protect Vietnamese Workers.
