Swiss officials speak in favour of democracy in Vietnam: Pascal Petroz

Pascal Petroz

Why I commit to stand beside the defenders of democracy in Asia

I commit myself because I’m fed up with one-party dictatorship that lies to their citizens by selling them simplistic but unrealistic ideals such as happiness without basic rights.

I commit myself to Asia as well as Switzerland, as only a humanist party that stands for a strong economy and take social responsibility can tomorrow create an enduring and prosperous society.

If, like me, you want everybody to get their chances, whatever origin, religion or political opinions they may have; and if respecting environment is important to you and you can’t tolerate injustice, then you can understand why I’m committing myself on the side of the defenders of human rights, may they be Burmese, Vietnamese or Koreans.

I believe Humanity is essential to achieving Democracy
