VIET TAN ANNOUNCES NEW LEADERSHIP
Viet Tan recently concluded its 9th Party Conference in Northern California with three primary objectives:
First, to review the Vietnamese struggle for democracy and Viet Tan’s ongoing efforts to promote peaceful political change and social justice in Vietnam.
Second, to approve strategies and projects to empower the people of Vietnam to resist the repression of the Vietnamese Communist Party.
Third, to elect the leadership to guide Viet Tan through the next three-year term (2022-2025), including:
Party Chair: Mr. Ly Thai Hung
Executive Director: Mr. Hoang Tu Duy
Spokesperson: Dr. Suzie Xuyen Dong
Mr. Do Hoang Diem, the outgoing Chair of Viet Tan, will continue to serve as a member of the Viet Tan leadership.
The mission of Viet Tan is to overcome dictatorship, build the foundation for a sustainable democracy, and demand justice and human rights for the Vietnamese people through a nonviolent struggle based on civic participation. Viet Tan has members throughout Vietnam and among Vietnamese communities worldwide.
