18 MEPs urge Ursula von der Leyen to put pressure on Vietnam to respect human rights
In a letter dated November 21, 2025, 18 Members of the European Parliament from various political groups called on the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, to pressure Vietnam to respect human rights. The MEPs also asked her to urge Vietnam to allow the establishment of independent trade unions.
