Actively support your democracy activist by:
- Spreading the word. Help publicize the activist’s efforts for social justice and her current detention.
- Donating your Facebook, Multiply or other social network profile to raise awareness.
- Organizing an advocacy campaign for the activist’s freedom.
- Writing to the activist. Even if the letter is intercepted by authorities, at least the jailers will know that Thuy, Nhan or Nghien has not been forgotten.
- Visiting her in person. A visit to one of these activists by a parliamentarian, journalist, or friend would represent an important show of support. If the authorities block you from seeing the activist, then pay a visit to her family as a show of solidarity.
