Nguyen Xuan Anh is a martial arts instructor from Vinh City and is married with two children. After his arrest, security police raided his home. Nguyen Xuan Anh was arrested as part of a larger crackdown currently totaling 17 human rights defenders (mostly from Vinh Province).
